We seek refuge and renewal in the presence of the Lord. We know that God is with us everywhere, yet we desire to follow Jesus’ example of intentionally withdrawing to a place of solitude to meet with the Father. Within these walls we lift our hearts to Him in praise and thanksgiving, conviction and confession, supplication and sorrow, doubt and hope. It is a safe place to meet Him as we are.
We believe that just as Jesus prayed with his disciples, we are called to pray with one another. The Prayer Room hosts times and seasons of communal prayer. As we intercede for one another, praying on behalf of one another, we also heed God's calling to pray for the world.
In all of these things, we depend on the Holy Spirit for guidance, conviction, and comfort. Ultimately, we exist to continually encourage the Dartmouth community to seek Jesus and join Him in His work of intercession for the salvation of the world and the glory of God.
